Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th, 2014, from 1:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M., with the Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M., at the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection at Immaculate Conception Church will begin at 10:00 A.M. As per Amadeu’s wishes, private entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum. Donations are preferred to the American Cancer Society c/o Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.
 Amadeu Lima was born in Faial, Azores and immigrated to the United States in 1959 with his wife Mary and two children, daughter, Mary and son, Manuel.
 They eventually settled in Hollister, CA and he spent the remainder of his life on the family ranch.
 Amadeu was a successful rancher, gardener and spent over 20 years working for the County Road Department and being a devoted family man.
 He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary, daughter, Mary Leon and her husband George Leon; son, Manuel Lima and his wife, Susanne Lima; five grandchildren, Shannon Leon, Tessa Coots and her husband Phillip Coots, Kristin Leon, Adam Lima and his wife Kristin Lima, Amanda Lima and three great-grandchildren, Abigail Leon, Jason Lima, and Peyton Lima.
