died at William and Inez Mabie Skilled Nursing Facility.

She was born in Michoacan, Mexico and came to Hollister from Texas over 60 years ago.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Teamsters Local 890. She worked for many years for San Benito Foods.

She became a U.S. citizen in 1997 in a ceremony held in San Jose.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Amador who died in 1982.

She is survived by her children, Isaiah Amador and Mary, his wife, of Salinas, Frank Amador of Salinas, Louisa Correa of Hollister and Benita Mendoza of Santa Clara. She also is survived by her two sisters, Carmen Garza and Susie Garcia both of Hollister; and 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Her son, Pete Amador, died in 1938.

Friends can pay their respects on Sunday, August 15, 2004 from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.

The vigil service will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home Sunday evening.

The Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at Sacred Heart Church.

Friends can meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a procession to the church.

Interment and graveside services will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
