 Andrew Deran Lucine, MD, 86, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 ,at his home in Gilroy, CA.
 Andrew Lucine is survived by his daughters; Helen Lucine and Didi Howard, his son, Albert Lucine and six grandchildren. His wife of 48 years, Jody Lucine and his brother, Albert Avedis Lucine Jr. MD, pre-deceased him.
 He was born January 29, 1929 in Philadelphia to an Armenian immigrant Albert Avedis; who was a physician and surgeon in Philadelphia and Grace Rachel Wright Lucine.
 He practiced general surgery in the Los Gatos and Gilroy hospitals for 33 years and then went on to work for the Medical Board of California and Medi-Cal Operations for another 18 years.
 His interests included being with his family, skiing, fly fishing, and his life-long passion, soccer, “GO EARTHQUAKES!”. 
 He was very proud of his Armenian heritage.
