Bernice Pedrazzi passed away on Monday in her home in Hollister. She was the daughter of Florindo and Blanche Ferrasci and wife of the late Laurence Pedrazzi. They were married on July 16, 1934 at St. Thomas Cathedral, Reno, NV.
She lived in Hollister for over seventy years . During her life she enjoyed many different hobbies and pastimes. She loved cooking all kinds of dishes. Sewing was a great joy to her as was all kinds of crafts. many of her friends and family have covered hangers crocheted by her.
Traveling was another passion with her. Now her traveling has come to an end and she is at peace.
She is survived by her three daughters, Anita Minkel (Bill Minkel), Carolyn Yacovone (Anthony Yacovone) and Betty Pedrazzi. She is also survived by by her grandchildren, Mark Yacovone, (Sheryl), Christopher Yacovone (Kathleen) Lisa Rovella (Steve), Jeffery Cattaneo (Julie), Anna Pierce, Benadette Cattaneo as well as numerous great-grandchildren, Blake, Tyler, and Travis Wilson, Kennedy Abrahamson, Dylan Pierce, Andrew Yacovone, Jeffery Cattaneo Jr., Giovanni Cattaneo, and Laurence Yacovone and great-great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to a Rosary Sunday evening, April 29, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. at Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Monday, April 30, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. with graveside services to follow at the Mausoleum in Calvary Cemetery. Contributions are preferred to Sacred Heart or St. Benedicts Church, Heartland Hospice, or Hazel Hawkins Hospital Womens Center c/o the funeral home.
