She joined her Heavenly Father on September 8, 2014, at the age of 90 in her Morgan Hill home, surrounded by her loving family.
She moved to Lindsay, CA at the age of four where she attended school and graduated Lindsay High in 1942. She then married James H. Noble in 1943, and they had two children, Sandra and Alan Noble.
Barbara and her children relocated to Fresno in the early 1950’s where she met her happily ever after, Harold C. Cox. They married in the Yosemite Valley Chapel, Yosemite National Park on October 11, 1958 where they combined their families of four daughters and one son.

She often planned trips with the grandchildren for adventures.
As a great-grandmother, she would nurture the babies, providing lots of hugs and kisses while she enjoyed watching them run and play as they grew into young adults.
As Barbara gave to her family, she also gave to her community. She volunteered for United Cerebral Palsy, Morgan Hill Art Gallery, she was a past member of American Business Woman Association and Fraternal Order of Eastern Star plus many other organizations. I
In addition to giving to her community, she was also an award winning photographer, an accomplished home designer and she had a love affair with American Baseball as well as a long-time member of Gavilan Hills Unity Church in Gilroy.
