With a heavy heart we have lost a mother, daughter, Grammy and friend. Barbie Dunham went to rest with our Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 26, 2012. She is survived by her mother, Helen Dunham; daughter, Joy LaRiviere; son-in-law, Troy LaRivere; sister, Betty Ely, Suzanne Dunham; grandchildren, Nick LaRiviere, Cole LaRiviere and Braeden LaRiviere; and dog, Earl, who she treated as her child.

Barbie was employed within the technological industry for many years and most recently with Costco. She was an advocate for Autism and even received a proclamation for her dedication from the Governor.

She was funny, beautiful and big hearted, willing to give the shirt off her back to help those in need.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and working in her garden. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Memorial services will be held on June 7, 2012 at 10:00 A.M., with private viewing from 9:00 to 9:30 A.M., for those who wish at Green Valley Mortuary, 3004 Alexandrite Road in Rescue, CA.
