The San Benito boys basketball team learned it would enter the Central Coast Section Division I playoffs as the third seed Sunday morning.
As a top-four seed the Balers won’t play until Feb. 25 at the earliest.
“It’s great,” head coach David Kaplansky said. “This is an award for their accomplishments this year. It shows how great their body of work is.”
San Benito, which finished the season 9-3 in the Tri-County Athletic League and 18-6 overall, will play the winner of Oak Grove and round one winner.
The time for Saturday’s game won’t be announced until Thursday’s round two results.
