Benny Carlton Swindle of Gilroy, California died on May 24, 2008 following a brief battle with cancer.
A backhoe operator for 48 years, he was well-known for his work ethic and sense of humor. He never met a stranger and was always ready with a joke to bring a smile to those around him.
Survived by his loving wife Kitty Swindle, his son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Kandee Swindle, his daughter and son-in-law, Nikki and Charlie Doe, his grandchildren Emily and Nathanael Doe and Kelsee Swindle.
He is also survived by his sisters Ann Martin, Billie McCarn and Wanda Kahlor and brother JC Swindle.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to The Pine Ridge Association, 9100 East Dunne Avenue, Morgan Hill, CA 95037
Services were held May 29, 2008 under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home.
