Bonnie Jean Weigand joyfully left this Earth to be with her Lord and Savior.
Cherished wife of Bob for 53 years, daughter of Aubrey and Edna Pollock of Hollister, CA, sister of Ferrell and Pat Pollock, the late Eunice Fowler and sister-in-law to Joe Weigand and Marilyn Housek, beloved mother to Debi Post, David and Susan Weigand, Diana and Bill Finnigan, devoted grandmother to Amanda, Valerie, Joanna, Natalya, Robert, Danielle, Amber, Matthew, Kevin, Breana, Paul, Timothy and 5 great-grandchildren; sister in the Lord to the members of the Springs of Life Christian Fellowship Church of Sunnyvale and a long-time friend to hundreds. Bonnie sold Tupperware from 1966 to 1980. From 1988 to 2003, she worked in the office of Foothill Christian Center, (Los Altos), which later became Springs of
Life Fellowship (Sunnyvale).
Bonnie accepted Our Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior as a young girl; her entire life was a testimony of the strength she received from Him. No matter how great her own physical ailments, her primary concern was for the well being of others. One of her greatest desires was to share her trust and faith in Christ so that others could come to know His great Love for them. Her home was always open to anyone and “no one” left hungry, physically of spiritually…
We will miss her laugh, her love of games, her beautiful spirit, and her great capacity to love and serve everyone who came into her life.
We will always love and remember you. We know when we get to Heaven, you will have our favorite meals ready for us.
This “Celebration of her Life” will be held on Wednesday, August 8th, at 12:00 P.M. The Home Church is located at 1799 Winchester Blvd., Campbell, CA. Graveside ceremony will be held Thursday, August 9th, at 2 P.M. at the IOOF Cemetery, located at the intersection of Buena Vista Rd. and Acacia St. in Hollister, CA.
