A two-vehicle accident Tuesday evening on Highway 152 caused a car to go off an embankment, injuring at least one person, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch reports.

The accident occurred at about 5:26 p.m. just east of Soap Lake, according to CHP reports.

One person was transported to San Jose Regional Medical Center, dispatchers said, although they did not know the extent of the injuries.

All lanes were closed at 5:45 p.m. Officers diverted traffic in the eastbound lane to Bloomfield Road until 6:05 p.m. Westbound traffic is being diverted at Lovers Lane, according to CHP reports.

CHP Officer Jaime Rios did not have specific details Tuesday evening, but he said more information would be available early Wednesday.
