Car strikes tree, starts on fire near Union and Airline

Authorities are reporting a car struck a tree Thursday morning on Union Road west of Airline Highway.

Dispatchers reported at about 8:45 a.m. that the car was on fire.

Responders are on scene, and Hollister police officers are conducting road closures in the area.
