Cirilo G. Ruiz died Monday evening at his home in Hollister at
the age of 88.
Cirilo G. Ruiz died Monday evening at his home in Hollister at the age of 88.
A native of Mexico, he had lived in San Benito county for 35 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He worked for Almaden Vineyards for many years before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sidonia Andablo Ruiz, in 1995.
He is survived by Father of Teodulo Ruiz, Heliodoro Ruiz, Silvia Ramirez, Velia Ruiz, Catalina Avila, Aqua Ruiz, Constantina Ramirez and Nemorio Ruiz all of Hollister; one brother and three sisters living in Mexico; and 26 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be today, Wednesday, March 9, at 2pm at Grunnagle Ament Nelson Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
