Lee Kuck, 32, is scheduled to appear in court on the charge March 25, according to police. Police linked Kuck to two incidents at the school, on Jan. 22 and Feb. 3.
In the more recent report, a student reported she had been walking on Memorial Drive near Sunnyslope Elementary School and that a man driving a tan Dodge car with black pin stripes and tinted windows approached and asked if she wanted a ride, according to police. When she declined, the driver told her to “get in” the car. At that point, the student saw a nearby friend and yelled to call the police, and the driver sped away westbound on Hillcrest Road, according to police.
Officer Carlos Rodriguez arrested the man Feb. 4 for being on the campus, and follow-up investigation by police and the district attorney’s office investigator led to the additional charge, according to a statement.
The investigation is active, and anyone with information is asked to call police at (831) 636-4330 or WeTIP at (800) 78-CRIME.
