Daniel Lemos, 68, passed away September 2, 2016 surrounded by his loving family in Modesto, CA. He was born in Gilroy, California on February 3, 1948 to Daniel and Evangeline Lemos.
He was raised on the family dairy in Gilroy and helped out at the ranch as well as the family florist shop. Dan was a very talented man and very personable. He was also versatile, he ran his own auto repair shop, he was a circulation manager at the Gilroy Dispatch, a property manager in Los Banos, and many other professions.
He loved working with wood, playing Uno with his Uno Queen, being the family comedian, dancing the jitterbug, and being with family. Dan was the most kind-hearted, caring individual. He was always helping anyone and everyone when they needed him. He was a one of a kind Dan the Man.
He is preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Evangeline Lemos and his brother Rick Lemos.
He is survived by his wife Vickie; sisters: Loretta Lemos, Nancy Sheedy, and Sandy Singleton; one brother, Timmy Lemos; his Children: Daniel Lemos, Misty Lemos, Kevin Lemos, Scotty Lemos, Danielle McCandless, and Dustin Lemos. Step-children: Sara Hale, Amanda Roberson, Michael Roberson, Russell Roberson, Austin Roberson. Dan was also proud to have 16 grandchildren.
