Richard “Dave” Biggs passed away February 2, 2008, after an almost year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. A long-time resident of Gilroy, Dave worked for PG&E for 30 years, volunteered for the Gilroy Fire Department, and most recently volunteered with Kaiser Hospital in Gilroy. Dave was an avid garage sale and flea market enthusiast, and enjoyed spending his weekends searching for the “perfect” bargain.

Dave leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Lois; their children, Jon Biggs (Sonia) of Hollister, Raynelle Signorotti (James) of Mascoutah, IL, Donelle Pistorino (Scott) of Jacksonville, NC, and Jason Biggs (Evern) of Stevens Point, WI; and grandchildren, Magan Biggs of San Francisco, Lauren Biggs of Hollister, Nathaniel and Nicholas Signorotti of Mascoutah, IL, Lucas Cada and Sean Pistorino of Jacksonville, NC, and Jack and Isabella Biggs of Stevens Point, WI. He also leaves behind a sister, Alicia Hart, of Dayton, NV.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service, which will be held in his honor, at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 8, at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth St, Gilroy CA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, Santa Teresa Kaiser Hospice, or donor’s favorite charity.
