David Earl Iobst December 30, 1942 – July 20, 2014

In loving memory of Dave, a celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 P.M., Sunday August 3, 2014, at Sarah’s Vineyard, Gilroy, CA. Memorials may be made to The Kidney Cancer Foundation in the name of David E. Iobst.
 Dave had a 21 year battle with Renal Cancer. This aggressive cancer gave Dave the drive to pursue the cure for the disease. Dave donated his body for further research in hopes for a cure.
.Dave was born December 30, 1942 in Allentown, PA. Dave was happily married to Constance Rae Iobst for 50 years. Dave was employed at IBM for 35 years, after retiring from IBM Dave ventured out into the restaurant business. He opened a restaurant in Morgan Hill and loved to have his friends and family come in to eat.
 While working at the restaurant, he discovered his love for fine wine. After closing the restaurant Dave was able to travel with his beautiful wife around the world. Dave was a respected man that will be missed by many. He truly loved spending time with his friends and family.
In addition to his wife Constance, Dave was survived by his son Jeffrey, grandchildren Devonna and Austin, two brothers Brian and Conrad, and many nieces and nephews.
