David Edward Maples “Dave” passed away on January 2, 2015. He was born in Oneonta, NY; formally a resident of New York, NY, San Jose and Morgan Hill, CA.
 He is survived by his wife of 38 years, MariJane Farano Maples and children David (Tracy), Jonathan (Michelle) and Lindsay Maples, as well as a growing extended family and special friends. He was looking forward to meeting his first granddaughter, the first child of Jonathan and Michelle Maples.
 Dave dedicated his life to building a family filled with love and compassion for life. He was passionate at finding small start-up companies and growing them into successful enterprises. Dave was admired for his knowledge of growing a business and creating new markets. He was also passionate about the relationships he developed with others both personal and professional. Dave aspired to help others attain their own goals by connecting them with opportunities to succeed.
 Dave enjoyed traveling around the US and the World whether it was for work, pleasure or supporting his wife MariJane during her Ironman triathlons. This love of adventure started at a young age, including one cross-country solo trip on a motorcycle when he was in his twenties.
 He was very proud of his three children and the successful lives they were living.
 He was a veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
