 Dorothy Lucile Noll passed away peaceful on April 19, 2014. Dorothy grew up in Colusa, CA before moving to Berkeley and graduating from Berkeley High School and the University of California at Berkeley.
 She worked for Matson and Standard Oil before teaching in Pleasanton and Gilroy where she met her husband, Alvin L. Noll, a local farmer and early garlic grower.
 Throughout the years Dorothy belonged to FRFG, Beta Sigma Phi, and Eastern Star. She and her husband were long-time members of the Gilroy Presbyterian Church. Dorothy enjoyed art, reading, gardening, sewing and traveling – especially trips with her grandchildren to Maui.
 In 2005, she moved to Walnut Creek to be closer to her family.
 Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Catherine Noll Monahan; son-in-law, Michael Monahan; and grandchildren, Sarah Monahan and Matthew Monahan – all of Walnut Creek. She is also survived by step-son, Mark Monahan and his family of Oceano; nephew, Dirk Buchser and his family of Paicines; niece, Barbara Sawyer and her family of Watsonville; and grand-nephew, William Anderson, Jr. and his family of San Francisco. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin L. Noll; parents, LC and James Felknor; sister, Catherine Felknor, niece, Linda Buchser; and nephews, Herman R. Buchser, Jr. and William Anderson.
