Elizabeth Brem died with her cousin, Paula Ramirez, Dec. 19th after the two slipped and fell off a muddy trail at Opaeka’a Falls on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.
Monte, who was flying to Hawaii to join his wife, learned of the deaths when he landed in Hawaii.
A memorial service for Elizabeth Brem and Paula Ramirez was held on Dec. 29th, 2006.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Monte Brem, sons Aidan and Ryan, of Encinitas, CA, parents Anna and Timothy Warke, brother Timothy Warke Jr. of New York, mother-in-law and father-in-law Larry and Judi Brem of Gilroy, sister-in-law Kara Brem Steinthal, husband Shylo Steinthal, niece, Kiah Brem Frame of Santa Cruz, and brother-in-law, Steven Brem, wife Sarah Brem, and nephews, Connor and Madden Brem of Roseville, Grandma “Do” Garriga & grandparents Carol & Art Bannister of Gilroy.
