Elizabeth “Betty” Lane Baker July 12, 1916 – September 20, 2015

 Elizabeth “Betty” L. Baker passed away peaceably at the age of 99 ,on September 20, 2015, at home while surrounded by loved ones. 
 Betty was a resident of Morgan Hill from 2001 to 2011 and in San Jose from 2011 to 2015.
 She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Botany from Mills College, Oakland, CA, and taught briefly in Davis, CA, before marrying Phillips D. Baker, of Minneapolis, MN, who preceded her in death.  
 She is survived by her children, David(Chicago) and Priscilla (San Jose), six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
