Elizabeth “Betty” Mae Bruckner April 1, 1923 – February 24, 2014

In leiu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to “Deacon’s Fund”, Gilroy Presbyterian Church, 6000 Miller Ave., Gilroy, CA 95020. Memorial service will be held at Gilroy Presbyterian Church on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 11:30 A.M. Reception to follow at church.
 Betty Bruckner, 90, of Gilroy died Monday, February 24, 2014.
 She was born April 1, 1923 in Medford, OR. She graduated from San Jose State in 1945 and married Rolf Bruckner in 1946.
 Betty is survived by Rolf, loving husband of 67 years, Susanna James, daughter and Eric Bruckner, son.  
 Her son, Kurt Bruckner, preceeded her in death.
 She is survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
 Betty was committed to education, earning her Masters at 58 years, and lived with selfless devotion to others.
