 Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Emma Rogers passed away of pneumonia at the age of 90 on February 27, 2014, surrounded by her family.
 She was born in Gonzalez, CA on January 21, 1924 to Thomas and Anita Gomez. She had little schooling but was very smart and creative!
 Emma married Frank Rogers on March 21, 1940 and became a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, puzzles; Price Is Right Show and Friday Night Bingo at Sacred Heart Parish Hall. She worked seasonal for George Collins, Fred Sharp, Dominic Lomanto, and Churchill Nut Co.
 Emma is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Roy Rogers, and siblings, Rosie Tapia, Frank Gomez, Alice Tehada, William Gomez and Dorothy Koch. She is survived by her Son, Dick Rogers (Carol), Daughter, Della Martinez (Ray); grandsons, Will Rogers (Ruth), Ramon Martinez (Lisa), and Dick Rogers (Mandie); granddaughter, Bernadette Ocampo (Joe); sister-in-law Loretta Rogers; eight great-grandchildren, and one great- great grandson.
 We wish to express sincere appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Mission De La Casa Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in San Jose and the Doctors and Nursing Unit at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
