Mrs. Esther Tamayo

 A celebration of Mrs. Tamayo’s life will be held on June 11th, 2016 at 10:00 A.M., at Westside Community Church located at 614 Mercy Springs Rd., in Los Banos CA. As requested by Mrs. Tamayo, please wear bright and vibrant colors. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) in memory of Mrs. Esther Tamayo.  Esther Tamayo passed away quietly in her sleep, at home, in Los Banos, CA on May 15th, 2016.
 She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Alfonso Tamayo Sr. Children; Norma (Randy) Funston of Manteca, Joann Tamayo of Los Banos, Ida Terry of Morgan Hill, Marina (Joe) Barrientez of Gilroy, and Vicky Castro of San Ramon.
 Mrs. Tamayo leaves behind 15 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
 Mrs. Tamayo was proceeded in death her son, Alfonso Tamayo Jr, parents; Pedro and Victoria Mata, and siblings; Jovita Mata ,Jose Mata, and Martin Mata.
 Mrs. Tamayo, along with husband, Alfonso Tamayo Sr., owned and operated The Original Baha Ranch Burgers in Gilroy on 7th and Monterey St. (1968-2011)and also the Baha Ranch Burgers in Hollister and Seaside (1970’s).
 Mrs. Tamayo will always be remembered for her loving and caring heart, and her love for bright pink and red roses.
 Mrs. Tamayo always enjoyed family visits at the restaurant, as well as cooking and preparing the famous Baha Ranch Burgers for all her customers, close friends, and family.
