Fortino Winery received 11 awards combined from San Francisco Wine Chronicle Competition, 2012 San Diego International Wine Competition,  2012 Los Angeles Wine & Spirits Competition, and 2012 Orange County Commercial Wine Competition.

The San Francisco Wine Chronicle Wine competition is the largest judging competition of domestically produced wines in the United States.  Fortino Winery was awarded three Silvers for 2008 Estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon, 2008 Estate-grown Charbono and Pomegranate Fruit Wine.

The Los Angeles International Wine & Spirits Competition has for 73 years, been showcased the finest domestic and international vintages through a wine-tasting event that is widely considered to be one of the most prestigious in the United States. Fortino Winery was awarded two Gold Awards for 2008 Estate-grown Charbono and 2009 Carignan. Two Bronze Awards for 2008 Estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Pomegranate Fruit Wine.

The Orange County Commercial Wine Competition was founded in 1976 and is headed by the Orange County Wine Society Inc. Fortino Winery was awarded Gold for 2009 Carignan and Silver for 2008 Estate-grown Charbono.

San Diego International Wine Competition is one of the longest running wine competitions in the United States. Fortino Winery was awarded Gold for its signature Maribella and Silver for 2008 Estate-grown Charbono.
