Pinky Hoffman and Allen Bloom married in 1952 and moved to Gilroy in 1962. Pinky and Al co-founded the Gilroy Community Theater (precursor to South Valley Civic Theater) with friends. Pinky was active in many local community theater productions, the Gilroy Garlic Festival, Kaiser and Gilroy Chamber of Commerce for many years.

Pinky loved her family, the theater and her many friends and that love was returned. She will be missed. Her smile and laugh will be sorely missed.
