Frank A. Messina passed away at his Hollister home at the age of 82. He was born in San Jose and lived in Hollister since 1971. He served in the US Army and was a member of Sacred Heart/St. Benedict’s Church. He worked as a plumber and farmer, forklift driver, worked for Denice and Felice and worked until he was 80 years old.

 He is preceded in death by his wife, Alicia, who died in 1997 and is survived by his daughter, Rosanna Messina of Hollister, his sister, Marian Wells of San Jose, his grandson, Robert Angelo Nunez of Mariposa and his two sisters in law, Jeanette Morgan of Mariposa and Diane Morgan of Hollister.

 He was also preceded in death by his brother, Richard Messina.

 Friends can pay their respects on Monday, April 9, 2012, from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

 The Mass will be on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Church on Fairview Rd. Friends can gather at the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. for a procession to the church. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery.
