Frank Paz Berezo passed away peacefully in Bend, OR on October 30, 2013.
Born in Skelton,WV, Frank’s family later moved to Youngstown, OH where he grew up. He served during World War II and returned to Youngstown, where he met Agnes Baytos in North Jackson, OH.
They married one year later in 1950. They had four children from 1951-1961. During that time, he worked as a mechanic/service manager for Baglier Motors in Girard and Bob Dodd Chevrolet in North Jackson. He was an amazing mechanic and generously offered his services to friends and family.
Always having a love for California, he moved his family to Hollister, CA in 1972. He was employed by Tiffany Motor Co. and Hollister Garage. He spent many happy years there where he enjoyed photography, nature, and rollerskating.
He was an especially gifted photographer and captured many beautiful family moments.
In their later years, he and Agnes moved to the Pacific Northwest, having a home in Vancouver, WA, until health reasons moved them to Oregon.
He is preceded in death by his mother Pura and father Frank Berezo; sister, Linda Berezo; wife Agnes; his Aunt and Uncle Phyllis and Philip Paz of Hollister, CA.
He is survived by his three siblings: Pearl Sinistro (Ralph) and Lalo Berezo (Josephine) of Boardman, OH, and John Berezo (Margo) of Middlesex, PA, as well as his four children: Patty McMeen of Bend, OR, Phil Berezo (Melanie) of Vancouver, WA, Barbara Berezo of Kalaheo, Kauai, and Francie Berezo of Santa Barbara, CA. In addition, he has four grandsons: Kyle and Sam Greening of Bend, OR and Brandon and Derek Berezo of Washington state, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins spread throughout the U.S.
He will be remembered by all for his sense of humor and warm smile, strong work ethic, and loving husband and father.
