Gavilan turns on new water center

Sherrean Carr, dean of career technical education at Gavilan College, 
and Terry Newman, community contract education director, cut the ribbon 
for the grand opening of the college’s new Water Industry Training 
Center. Starting in the spring, Gavilan will offer two credit courses: 
WTRM 101 – Introduction to Wastewater Technology and WTRM 102 – 
Beginning Water, Wastewater-Distribution Math. Details: 852-2801 or go
