Come join the sons of George Peter Bagoye, as we celebrate the life of our Morgan Hill farmer, and an era passed. The viewing will be held from 2:00-4:00 P.M., followed by the service at 4:00 P.M., on Sunday, November 10th, 2013, at Johnson Funeral Home, 17720 Monterey Rd., Morgan Hill. The burial service will be held at Oak Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park located at 300 Curtner Avenue, San Jose on Monday, November 11th, 2013. We will meet in the main lobby at 11:00 AM.
George Peter Bagoye was born in San Jose, CA on December 22, 1920.
He graduated from Campbell High School in 1940. In 1952 he met his bride, Juliann Lucin and they had two sons, Nick and Mark.
George was the son of a farmer and continued the family business growing apricots, cherries, walnuts and prunes. He moved to Morgan Hill in 1962, farming another 20 acres in prunes and walnuts.
At 92, George was still farming up until his death, on November 2nd of this year.
