Funeral services were held for Giles R. “Bud” Kennedy who died Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the age of 79.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Aug. 21 at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
Pastors Jim Achilles and Duane Cashion of Grace Bible Church officiated. A eulogy was given by Kennedy’s daughter-in-law, Mary Louise Kennedy.
Interment and military rites were held Friday, Aug. 22, at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella. Kennedy’s son-in-law Bob Maddox officiated.
Pallbearers were his grandchildren Matt Kennedy, Christy Kennedy, Brian Kennedy, Ranae Maddox, Tiffany Maddox, Laura Maddox, Emilie Maddox and Ben Maddox.
