Gloria passed away, at age 58, peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She grew up in the Willow Glen area, where she spent her childhood.
When her family moved to Morgan Hill, she met her husband of 40 years, Norman MacVicar. They eventually settled in Gilroy, where they raised their family.
She owned and operated her own business, California Silk Screening, in Gilroy, for over 30 years.
She continually gave back to the community through her fundraising and charitable donations.
Her favorite past time was playing softball, where she was known for her pitching. She also had such a great love for her grandchildren.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer 13 years ago. She fought numerous battles, but never gave up, always had a smile on her face and was an inspiration for others with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Norman. Her children; Mitch (Kim) MacVicar and Michele (Tim) Pierson. Grandchildren; Tyler and Makenna MacVicar; Dionne and Dillon.
