Harlan E. Selvey April 5, 1924 – July 12, 2013

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 10:00 A.M., at Grace Bible Church, 6th and Monterey Streets, Hollister. Committal with military rites will be at 1:30 P.M., on Thursday at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery on W. McCabe Rd. in Santa Nella.

 Harlan E. Selvey passed away in Hollister at the age of 89.
 He was born in Marionville, MS and lived in Hollister for the past 12 years.
 He married his wife, Shirley, in 1950 in Pueblo, CO and was a minister in many cities, El Monte, CA, Petaluma, CA, El Cerrito, CA, Reno, NV and Hanford, CA. He also served at Grace Bible Church in Hollister and taught at Southern California Bible College. He also served as an interim pastor in Copperopolis, CA and San Jose, CA in the Berryessa area. He served his country honorably in the US Navy during WWII and held a Doctorate of Divinity. He was a member of Grace Bible Church in Hollister.
 He is survived by his wife, Shirley Selvey of Hollister, his children, Eldon Selvey (Judi) of Moss Landing and Kathleen Mikkelsen (Jim) of Bristow, VA., his brother and sister, John Selvey of Cheyenne, WY and Margaret Knight of Avondale, CO and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Trujillo, Christian Mikkelsen, Collin Mikkelsen, Miciaiah Trujillo, Laney Trujillo and Kaden Trujillo.
