Harry F. Skibbins passed away Tuesday afternoon at the age of 85 at Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital. Born in Chicago, Illinois, having lived in California for the past 40 years. Harry had been a sales manager for Prudential Insurance for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II as a radio operator on a B24 in the South Pacific.

Harry is survived by his wife, Dolores C. Skibbins of Hollister, Daughters, Joyce Cummings, husband, Don of Gilroy and Lynn Garofalo, husband, Alan, of Morgan Hill. Grandfather of Justin Cummings, wife, Analise, of Gilroy and Brian Garofalo of Laguna Niguel, CA. Brother of Eleanor Meyer of IL, and Isabelle Bullington of Arizona. Brother-in-law of Gene Skibbins of Cupertino. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends and family are invited to meet at 9:45 A.M. on Friday, April 3rd, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tres Pinos for a funeral Mass commencing at 10:00 A.M. Burial and graveside services follow the Mass. Contributions are preferred to the Parkinson’s Institute in Sunnyvale in care of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home.
