Our beloved Henry Estrada Jr. Leon, born December 26, 1966 in San Jose, CA, went peacefully on October 5, 2012, surrounded by his wife, two daughters, and son in-law. A devoted family man of two girls and four dogs, Henry was a loving husband, dedicated brother, amazing son, caring father in-law, goofy uncle, precious brother in-law, and thoughtful friend.

He was a social butterfly that made new friends everywhere he went, never leaving anyone out. He was a hands on dad, which enjoyed coaching his daughter’s soccer teams throughout their many years of playing. Being voted coach of the year was one of his most prized achievements.

A deep conversationalist, incredibly intelligent, driven with everything he wanted in life, loving to his family and friends, talented soccer player, hardworking welder, helpful to everyone he knew, hilarious and full of life. He cherished life and had a kind heart. He was thoughtful, generous, and inspirational to his family, friends, and those he had just met for the first time.

His love for his family, friends, antiques, soccer, the Raiders, history, late night pancakes and brownies with his family, artistic glass etching, the beach, music and dancing, and the simple pleasures in life such as sitting and enjoying the company of his family will live on forever, as he will continue to live on in all of our hearts.

We adore you and miss you Henry. Rest in Peace #1.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, and grandmother.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday October 9, 2012, from 1:00-2:30 P.M., at Habing Funeral Home in Gilroy.
