The San Benito High School District is looking for volunteers for its citizens’ oversight committee.
Voters passed Measure G, a $42.5 million general obligation facilities bond, in June of 2014. The committee members serve two-year terms and are in charge of making sure the money approved by voters is used within the laws and regulations of the bond measure.
The district has vacancies for the following positions: business organization member, senior citizens’ organization member, taxpayers’ organization member, and at large member.
Those interested in joining the committee should send their application to the office of the superintendent at 1220 Monterey St. in Hollister. The application can be found on the district’s website: sbhsd.k12.ca.us/pdf/CitizensOversightCommitteeApp.pdf.
