Hollister police arrested a local man suspected in several burglary cases, according to the police department.
Hollister police arrested Joshua Dickerson, 25, of Hollister alleging two separate burglary charges while announcing he is a suspect in two other separate matters.
The first case stems from a response Feb. 25, when officers received a report of a residential burglary in progress in the 1100 block of San Benito Street. According to the police statement, a citizen reported seeing two people wearing dark clothing entering into a residence while the homeowner was away at work. The officers who responded were able to contact the two people inside the residence while a third person fled the scene.
Police arrested Dickerson on suspicion of residential burglary. Investigators also identified him as the suspect in a commercial burglary from Save Mart that occurred on Feb. 23. Dickerson was arrested in that case as well.
Aside from the two burglary cases, Dickerson is also suspected of siphoning gas from vehicles and stealing a security camera from a business on Technology Way, while the investigation into those matters is continuing.
