Hollister Police officers arrested a 63-year-old San Jose man on suspicion of murder after finding him in the same home as a deceased man.
Officers responded to a call of a report of a deceased male at a home on Morey Circle Tuesday at 1 a.m. The Hollister Fire Department pronounced a 55-year-old male dead at the scene. The man’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
When officers arrived at the home, they found John Neuer, 63, of San Jose, in the home. The circumstances around the death appeared to be suspicious, according to a statement from the police department.
They booked Neuer into San Benito County Jail on a charge alleging murder.
