DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Martin Manzo Cendejas, 33, who lives on the 1700 block of Jacaranda Circle in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, on Airline Highway at Tres Pinos at 7:50 p.m. Monday.

CONCEALED WEAPON: Jeffery Allen Pettigrew, 43, who resides at 1030 Marne Drive in Hollister, and is also the president of the San Jose chapter of the Hell’s Angels, was arrested by Hollister police for possessing a fixed-blade knife hidden under his vest, a felony, when he was stopped on Seventh Street at 3:30 p.m. for not having a license plate on his Harley Davidson on Monday.

USE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: A 15-year-old Hollister male was arrested by Hollister police for being under the influence of crystal methamphetamine, a felony, when his father attempted to have him drug tested at Hazel Hawkins Hospital around 9 p.m. Monday. When police arrived, the father was physically restraining his son by sitting on him, who has repeatedly run away from home.

CAR THEFT: A Hollister resident had her car stereo stolen out of her 1997 Honda Accord sometime Monday afternoon in front of her home on Prospect Avenue. Hollister police responded to the theft at 8:40 p.m.
