Jabet Huaracha, Born on 2/15/1934 in La Piedad, Michoacan, Mexico, died on 12/30/2014 in Hollister, CA. Friends can pay their respects on Monday, January 5, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. The Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., at the funeral home. The Mass will be on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M., at Mission San Juan Bautista. Interment will follow the Mass at San Juan Cemetery. A reception will follow the services at the San Juan Bautista VFW Hall.
Jabet Huaracha was long term resident and community member of the city of San Juan Bautista, CA. He passed away in Hollister at the age of 80 years old.
He was the beloved husband of Rosario Huaracha for 52 years and father to two sons and two daughters; Javier Huaracha of Tres Pinos, Lourdes (Huaracha) Sendejas of Morgan Hill, David Huaracha of San Juan Bautista and Sandra (Huaracha) Villaseñor of Patterson. Father-in-law to Tami Huaracha-Castañeda, Aurelio Sendejas and Arturo Villaseñor. He was a loving Grandfather to 11 grandchildren: Joshua Huaracha, Jonathan Huaracha, Rianna Huaracha, Stevie Ray Sendejas, Sarah Sendejas, Marissa Sendejas, Adam Huaracha, Alex Huaracha, Andrew Huaracha, Melina Villaseñor and Marcos Villaseñor.
Jabet worked many years in the orchards of San Juan Bautista and Hollister. He loved to take care of his small apple orchard and took pride in working hard for himself and others. He enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends.
Jabet was the son of Cenobio and Angela Huaracha (deceased). Jabet is survived by his siblings: Abad Guaracha of Hollister, Baltazar Guaracha of San Juan Bautista, Osvaldo Ramirez, Moises Ramirez, and Carmen Melgoza of Mexico, Josefina Hinojosa of Texas and Barbara Moreno of El Centro.
He died peacefully at Mabie Northside facility in Hollister.
