Services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 11:00 A.M., at Mission San Juan Bautista. Burial will follow at San Juan Bautista Cemetery.
 Born in Rueun Switzerland, John came to California as a young man. He realized his dream with his ranch, Hill Top Fancy Eggs on Fairview Road in Hollister.
 Wife, Margherita “Rita” Cadalbert, children: Mark, Roy, Grace and Janne. 
 After retiring, he and Rita moved to beautiful San Juan Bautista.
 Grandchildren: Diana Espinoza, Ruth Extein, Rachel and Isaac Lamptey, Matthew and Ashlyn Wright. Great-grandchildren: Ava and Leonidas Extein.
