John Richard Freitas February 28, 1963 – March 23, 2014

 A graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery on Hillcrest Rd at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 28, 2014. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
 John was born in Hollister, CA, on February 28, 1963, to Patricia Freitas and the late Louis Freitas, Sr. John graduated from Hollister High in 1981.
 John was a lifetime resident of Hollister. His heart desire had always been spending time with family and friends camping or fishing. Though John had been ill for several years, he enjoyed being a Park Ranger at San Benito Thousand Trails.
 John is survived by his wife, Tammy Freitas; sons, Justin Freitas of Fort Riley, KS and Joshua Freitas of Hollister; brother, Louis Freitas Jr. of Hollister; sisters, Joyce Merrill of Hollister and Eileen Martin of Dayton, NV; grandchildren Westley and Scarlett Freitas of Fort Riley, KS; daughter-in-law, Ashley Freitas of Fort Riley, KS; brother-in-laws, Manny Martin of Dayton, NV and Robert Merrill of Hollister; sister-in-law, Amy Freitas, of Hollister; as well as numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
