Jose Martin Pena November 24, 1961 – January 26, 2014

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., January 31, 2014, at Grunnagle, Ament & Nelson Funeral Home.
 Jose Martin Peña, 52, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 26, 2014, at Hazel Hawkins Hospital, surrounded by family.
 He graduated from San Benito HS in 1980 and had been a life-long Hollister resident. He attended the University of Texas in Edinburg and played college baseball. He loved playing baseball!
 Martin is survived by his parents – Jose M. Peña and Minerva C. Peña, sisters – Lupy (Tomas) Rodriguez, Maria Leticia (Tom) Ogletree, Suzanna (Art) Haro, brother – Jorge Peña and his long-time love Barbara Smiley. He has four daughters, Janira Martinez, Marlene, Stephanie, and Gina Peña, numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
