A memorial celebrating her life will be on Saturday, May 2, 2015, 1:00 P.M., at the V.F.W. located at 74 W. 6th Street, Gilroy. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, to make a donation in her name to St. Jude’s Hospital instead.
“Josie” went on to an everlasting life April 21st, 2015, lovingly surrounded by her husband of 50 years, Tony and her family.
Josie was so very proud of her 6 children, Babe, Dolores, Steve, Yvonne, David and Diana, as well as their own families.
You could always find her to be anxiously awaiting on the arrival of the newest addition to her family in every delivery waiting room.
She had a total of 17 grandchildren, 25 great- grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, always providing an endless fountain of love for each of them.
She enjoyed rooting for her Giants and Niners; sitting at the edge of her seat, hollering at a boxing match; or yelling, “Bingo!” for a win; always with humor and quick wit.
Our lives were enriched by her love and presence and a part of us will forever grieve the loss of our Matriarch.
