Our beloved father Juan Vasquez, Sr., a.k.a “Johnny” passed away on September 29, 2011, after a long debilitating illness. Juan was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He was a tractor operator for 20 years with A.L. Castle and Harden Farms. Juan was an active advocate with the U.F.W.

Juan is survived by his children, Maria Lamberson (Adolfo Salinas); Jose de Jesus; Juan (Linda), Alberto and Greg Vasquez; and Luisa Salinas. Juan’s grandchildren, Nathan (Yolanda), Lanette (Alvaro), Anthony, and Elyssa Vasquez; Adam Lamberson; Alexis, Robert, and Andrew Salinas; Christine, Valeria, Gregory, and Celen Vasquez; and great- grandchildren along with numerous brothers and sisters.

A mass to honor Juan will be held at the San Juan Bautista Mission,2nd and Mariposa Streets, San Juan Bautista on Thursday, October 6th, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. Private inurnment will be held.
