Long-time Hollister resident Juanita “Jenny” Wilson died Friday, June 27, in her San Jose home at the age of 75.

Funeral services were held at the Mount Pleasanton Christian Center in San Jose Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be today at 11 a.m. at the Oak Hill Mortuary in San Jose.

Wilson was raised in Hollister and moved to San Jose in the mid 1980s. She battled various blood diseases before her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aurelio and Cora Perales; brothers Daniel “Sudz” Perales and Joseph “Joey” Perales; and son Jackie “Spider” Wilson. She is survived by sons and daughters, Freddy Wilson, Edward Wilson, Michael Reloba, Robin Rodriquez and Tammy Jordan, all of San Jose, and Debbie Warthen of Oregon; and brothers and sisters, James “Jim” Perales, Jonathan “Jon” Perales, Josephine Mena, Carla Talavera and Mike Perales, all of Hollister, and Susan “Susie” Avita of Napa. Wilson is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
