Julia Maheu passed away peacefully on August 10, 2012, at the age of 80 in Hollister. She was born in Mountain View, CA, to Nicolas and Maria Perez. She had one sister, Josephine Jimenez, who died in 2012. She was loved by her children Michael (Yvonne), Kenneth (Laurie) and Robert; her grandchildren, Lindsay (Brian) Wooler, Jennifer, Rachel, Cory, Amber, Jillian, Chad and great-grandchild, Ellis.
Julia, a long time business woman in Hollister, owned and operated the Granada and Showcase theaters for many years. She was a sweet, loving woman and a friend to so many. Her gentle kindness, patience and grace will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos at 10 a.m. September 1,2012, followed by a gathering on-site in the parish hall. To send condolences visit www.grunnagle.com
