Karen Ryan Kelly April 26, 1945 – August 9, 2015

 A Celebration of her life will be on Monday, August 17, 2015, at 12:00 P.M. It will be held at Oaks Hill Church, 1100 Blue Ravine Road, Folsom, CA 95630.
 Karen Eileen Ryan Kelly passed away on August 9, 2015, in her home, surrounded by family.
 Karen was born April 26, 1945, in Gilroy, CA to Thomas E. Ryan and Lydia Sinner Ryan.
 She moved to Morgan Hill in 1962, where her children, Todd Shelton, Robert Shelton and Lana (Shelton) Dougherty, were born.
 In 1973, the family moved to Hollister, where she was a loving mother and homemaker and they lived for 18 years.
 She started her career in real estate in 1982, and has worked in property management for many years.  
 She married Daniel Kelly in 1994, then moved to El Dorado County, where they had a beautiful vineyard and enjoyed making wine. In 2006, they moved to their home in El Dorado Hills, which has a stunning view of Folsom Lake.
 One of her greatest joys in life were her grandchildren and she was very involved in all of their lives.
 Karen is survived by her husband, Daniel Kelly, her son, Todd Shelton (Sharon), her daughter, Lana Shelton Dougherty (Kent), her step-son, Daniel Kelly (Joanne), her step-daughter, Shawn Shehab (Jason), thirteen grandchildren, her sister, Linda Harrell, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
 Karen is predeceased by her son, Robert Thomas Shelton, her parents, Thomas E. Ryan and Lydia Sinner Ryan, and her brother, Kenneth Sinner Ryan.
