 On March 9, 2016, Karlene Louise (Smith) DiNapoli lost her valiant battle with cancer. She passed away at her home in Morgan Hill with Lee DiNapoli, her husband and best friend, at her side.  
 Born June 15, 1965, in San Jose, CA she is also survived by her daughters, Vianca Niccolle and Marissa Gloria Marie DiNapoli, and her parents, James and Runore Smith.
 In 2009, Karlene earned her broker’s license and  became one of the elite Broker Associates of Intero Real Estate Services. One of her most cherished endeavors was representing the Intero Foundation in Morgan Hill, qualifying grants to local non-profit organizations, and then supporting those efforts in the community.
 In 2014, she was recognized for her contributions and accepted Intero’s highest award, known as the Intero Value Award.
 Karlene’s passions were her family, her horses and a glass of champagne in the evening to celebrate anothe! r day well-lived. She will be remembered by her family, friends and all those whose lives she touched, for her creativity, compassion and generosity.
