Kim Elizabeth Nunez entered into eternal rest on Monday morning while her loved ones held her hands and she held their hearts.
A beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and grammie. Daughter of James and Toni Loveday, Daughter in law to Crespin Nunez Sr. and sister to Mark Loveday, sister-in-law Brenda, and Marcelle Loveday.
Kim was preceded in death by her dear husband and childhood sweetheart Christopher.
She is survived by her children Mike, daughter-in-law Julie, Laura, husband Andrew, and Carolyn, husband Travis. Aunt to Alexis, Kenneth and Melissa.
Her most joyous moments were spent in adoration of her 5 grandchildren; Shaela, Maverick, Caleb, Brady and Jazmyn.
Kim grew up in Santa Clara, CA where she was a brilliant student, caring friend to many and always the peacekeeper between her siblings.
Kim married her sweetheart and accompanied him over seas where he was stationed. She recalled Eng land fondly, and dreamed of going back someday.
She enjoyed working in the medical field and treated her patients with dignity and compassion.
She and Christopher moved with their daughter Carolyn to New Braunfels, TX in 2005. They purchased their “dream” home and took to Texas quickly. Kim became an avid cardinal watcher, neighborhood pool swimmer, and sweet tea drinker. She loved that home.
Kim was a selfless person and always took care of the other people in her life. There was nothing she would not do for her children, and supported them with honesty and a devoted motherly perspective.
Kim was known to do a “happy dance” in the front driveway at her grandson’s request, or have breakfast ready and waiting for them before they woke. Her heart was full of love and she held steadily onto her faith.
As her health began to decline she reminded her family how important it is to live your days like they could be your last, respect each other, apologize when necessary, offer forgiveness and to find strength in times of uncertainty. She will be deeply missed.
Kim gave to others, if you would like to donate in Kim’s honor please go to The Liver Foundation at www.liverfoundation.org or update your Driver’s License and become an organ donor.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. JOHN 3:16
