Lynne Dee Howard (Koontz) January 7, 1946 – July 17, 2015

Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 10:30 A.M., at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Edgar, NE. Burial was at the Edgar Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at wmsfh.com. A memorial service will be held in Gilroy at a later date.
 Lynne Dee Howard (Koontz), 69, passed away in the evening of July 17, 2015, at her home in Gilroy, CA with her family by her side. She was born on January 7, 1946 is Hastings, NE.
 Lynne worked as a nurse in many arenas but found her calling as a school nurse for 15 years in Gilroy, CA.
 After she retired from the school district in 2011, she split her time between her home in Gilroy and the farm in Edgar. She satisfied her desire to travel by exploring Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South America. She also enjoyed driving around the country, walking her dogs, visiting with family and friends, researching genealogy and watching scary movies.
 Lynne is survived by her sons, Brian Howard and wife, Katie of Morgan Hill, CA and Jonathan Howard of Gilroy, CA and her daughter, Julie Howard and husband, Chris of Moab, UT; her grandchildren, Bailey Howard, Jack Howard and Henry Butler.
